THE PROCESS

Our Methodology

A working framework for analyzing futures markets. The directional bias is a hypothesis, not a prediction; price can invalidate it.

01

Market analysis and directional bias

We analyze price action and market structure to develop a working bullish or bearish bias. We identify what would support the idea and what price behavior would invalidate it.

Bias is conditional. It does not guarantee future direction.

02

Multi-timeframe Volume Profile

We review Volume Profile on the 15-minute, 30-minute, 1-hour, and 4-hour timeframes. We observe the Point of Control (POC), value area, high-volume nodes, and relevant price levels in context.

Volume Profile describes how traded volume is distributed across prices for the data and settings used. It does not independently predict future movement. Exact profile settings and session boundaries have not been specified.

03

Order blocks, breaker blocks, and market structure

We assess whether observed price behavior around order blocks, breaker blocks, support, resistance, and channels is consistent with the working bias. Potential reactions, breaks, breakdowns, and retests are considered as scenarios.

Order block and breaker block labels are Smart Money Concepts interpretations of chart behavior. They do not prove institutional activity.

04

Entry planning

We combine multiple forms of confirmation before deciding whether to enter. Planning considers an entry level, stop-loss placement, take-profit target, account balance, and the planned risk/reward relationship.

No exact entry trigger or minimum risk/reward threshold has been confirmed, so none is stated here.

05

Trade management

We aim to avoid greed and impulsive decisions that compromise the plan. Relevant price levels may guide stop adjustments and gain protection when the setup justifies them.

Stop movement cannot guarantee a profit. Gaps, slippage, liquidity, and execution can cause realized results to differ from planned levels.

06

Review

After a trade closes, we review chart context, alignment with the strategy, execution, management decisions, outcome, and lessons. Public reviews appear as Trade Examples when verified source material is available.

Trade Examples are educational case studies, not a public trading journal or a complete performance record.

TRADING SESSIONS

Sessions are part of context.

We analyze Asia, London, and New York sessions and apply our own session preferences. The priority order, specific entry rules, exact hours, and time zone have not been confirmed. We do not publish session hours or imply a preferred session until those details are verified.
